The ACGTA Research Foundation - CosB™ Initiative

The New Global Business Management Framework for Sustainability Governance

The ACGTA Research Foundation is developing an important business management framework; one that focuses on Global Sustainability, Climate Change and Green Technology control considerations.

CosB, short for 'Control Objectives for Sustainability in Business', will document all possible control objectives and define general risks relating to corporate energy conservation, sustainability, green information technology and other green technologies.

Similar to frameworks like CobiT and ITIL, which were developed to support governance over Information Technology, CosB is expected to be the leading framework to support business sustainability and green technology governance.

The CosB initiative include contributions from experts from around the world and will therefore be a truly global governance standard for business.

This historic initiative is expected to be in compliance with the ISO 14001 standard for environmental auditing, ISO 9004:2009 standard for managing the sustained success of organizations, and as a complement to leading sustainability reporting protocols such as the Global Reporting initiative (G3).
